Dwight McCloud was born in East Tennessee. His first instrument was a banjo that he would play in the laundry room of the basement. He has a homegrown love for gospel bluegrass. His songwriting talents remained hidden for a number of years, until now. It is his unique outlook on all that life holds, and of course his ability to laugh at himself, that brings originality to his lyrics.
